A range of SVGA and SVGA with audio over CAT5 kits, which can be used up to a maximum distance of 150mtrs (492ft) away, and support resolution up to 1024 x 768.
With a built-in noise suppression circuit, which eliminates signal loss for superb SVGA quality. They can be used with unsheilded twisted pair (UTP) CAT5 cable, and provide a cost effective way to extend your video and audio signals (depending on model) by using CAT5.
The local unit duplicates the input signal for local use (2 monitors) and transmits the SVGA signal to a remote unit. When the signal is received by the remote unit, via CAT5 connector, the remote unit broadcasts the signal to two SVGA outputs.
A convenient Gain (equalisation) control selector on the remote unit is designed for optimum signal clarity according to the length of the CAT5 cable used.
The audio version of the CAT5 extender has the same functions as well as supporting audio. It works by taking the left and right audio channels and combining them to form a mono signal before transmitting to the remote unit via CAT5 cable.
